Maria Lucia Ferraguti
Macroscopico innanzi tutto: narrano la loro grandiosità mentre catturano lo sguardo bambini, gatti e fiori. Tale è la visione ravvicinata all'immagine e l'eloquenza del colore. Modelli domestici presi in prestito, che l'artista riprende e restituisce elevati a simboli poetici otticamente sorprendenti, secondo uno schema lineare sottolineato da tinte ben distese entro confini precisi.

Pittrice. Ritrova semplicemente i suoi soggetti nella vita normale, gli amici, la gatta, su i suoi libri, dai viaggi. Oretta Capitanio ha conseguito un linguaggio figurativo personalissimo, iperrealista, naif, iconografico, caratterizzato da un elevato slancio poetico. Lavora sugli animali, sui fiori, sugli uomini, sui visi visti da vicino, sulle espressioni normali, ravvicinate e immobili con stupefacenti cromatismi. I soggetti sono stretti e costretti nei confini di un dipinto e perciò, trasbordano, fuoriescono, invadono i profili e lo spazio, catturando con soave vigore lo spettatore.

E’ un’artista girovaga, è una sognatrice, è una pittrice interprete di una pittura ironica e modernamente classica. La sua vita fatta di viaggi, spostamenti, incontri, la arricchiscono di conoscenza, di saggezza che insieme gli regalano grazia e sensibilità verso le cose e gli uomini. Oretta Capitanio è l’esponente di una pittura contaminata dalle suggestioni che imprimono i dipinti da lei più amati: quelli legati fortemente ai sentimenti, alle nature dei luoghi e dei tempi in cui sono stati creati, quelli di Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Olga Costa e Botero, quelli del Donghi, Bocchi, Casorati e di Paula Modersohn Becker, quelli della pittura Cagiara, delle miniature indiane, della pittura italiana tre-quattrocentesca, della pittura fiamminga di Van Der Weyden, Jan Van Eyck e del Vermeer, assorbite durante la sua esistenza trascorsa a cercare e ad osservare il bello, compiacendosene. L’anima della sua produzione rimane quella, e i dipinti esprimono comprensibili e gradevoli sentimenti come la rilassatezza, la gioia e la soddisfazione.

She works on animals, on flowers, on people, on faces around her, on normal expressions, represented closer and still with amazing cromatismis. The subjects are tightened and compelled in the boundariews of a painting and therefore they come out, they invade the outlines and the space, capturing with softt vigor the spectator.

That is the soul of her paintings that express understandeble and pleasant feelings such as relexation, joy and fulfilment.
